Would my husband go bananas if I turned my office into a girly-girl haven?

I'm currently obsessed with the gold/champagne/pink/white color scheme. I could keep the walls mocha {the wall color we inherited from the previous home owners} since I want to wait until we get to turn that room into a nursery before I choose a color to repaint it. I already own the gold sea urchins from Two's Company that I would mount on the wall, so all I would need is the metallic hide, "A" pillow and pink bow print...

Fabric Lovin'

I got an email today from the Katerina Tana Collection (they make the most gorgeous fabrics!) I am so loving this fabric that I immediately called the Holly Hunt showroom to have them send me the swatches. I love that it's lace-y and geometric at the same time. Count me in!

It's supposed to rain all weekend (which I actually like, especially if I can cuddle up in my pjs with some hot cocoa.) So while the LA skies are gray, I need to keep these rainbow goodies in mind...

Chevron will never die...

I can't imagine a time when I won't LOVE everything chevron. I'm sure that day will come eventually, but until then I will continue to drool over all these gorgeous goodies...

The Glam Lamb posted this insane kitchen the other day (via pretty space.) I would trade my granite for this chevron in an instant.

Color Combo - Red and Gold!

Last night I had a girls night out (a belated celebration of my 31st b-day) and I decided to pull out my Loubou's.
My husband bought me these red Christian Louboutin wedges for my 30th birthday, which I LOVE but I've only worn once. So I realized it's about time I break them in.

In a stroke of genius, I paired them with my skinny jeans and this top from Edun, with gold thread woven in.

I threw on my watch and party ring and went on my merry way to dinner!

It got me thinking about combining red and gold in the home - and I'm loving it. I can absolutely see this gold moroccan pouf {from Horchow}...
