While staying at the Parker last week I was in {L O V E} with these multi-colored glass jars I spotted in the lobby.

So is Martha {Stewart}, because I spotted these gorgeous goodies in this month's Living.

I love my iPhone4 more than you should love an inanimate object. My old iPhone had a few different "outfits" - cases it would wear depending on my mood (clear for serious, hot pink for fun and gold for glamour.) My new iPhone has a fab Kate Spade polka dot look going on right now, but maybe it's time to start giving her some wardrobe options...

Too Pooped to Pop

Spent all day Wednesday at Westweek, lecture-hoping and party-hoping {the parties were definitely the best part.} While I screw my head back on today, enjoy this picture that makes me smile. My Curtis Jere owl, sitting happily in my dining room.

Warm Me Up

I had a wonderful weekend in LA - it was SUPER cold on Saturday - I even had friends tweeting about snow falling at their homes! We spent Saturday night at a great new restaurant, Eveleigh, and then sat in front of our fireplace catching up on our DVR'd shows.

Our fireplace would be even more magical with one of these gorgeous fireplace screens.

A little sunshine this weekend

Saturday started out as a Debbie Downer kind of day. My house almost flooded from the rains we are having in LA, and I spent hours (and $635) with Roto-Rooter as they cleaned out the drains in our backyard. My husband was gone all day for work. My car started to freak out and needs to be brought in to the shop. They put too much onion in my burrito. Nothing seemed to be going my way...

Until I visited Faire Frou Frou in Studio City (just a hop skip and jump away from my house.) I had read about it in Rue magazine and was equally excited to check out the decor AND buy myself a new ban.do to sport at my friend's engagement party.

I was lucky enough to meet one of the owners, Alison, who is as sweet as the store is fabulous. The whole experience brought some sunshine to my day!

Well Read Designs

I'm always pushing my clients to use books that they have in our designs to create design vignettes. I love using gorgeous design and art books on a coffee table or organized by color on a book shelf.

LOVE this affordable stack of antiqued books from Ballard Designs. They recommend using them stacked on a table or placed on a mantel. I also love the idea of placing them on a bookshelf or side table.

New Goods @ Ban.Do

As I've mentioned many times on the blog before, I'm a big fan of ban.do's hair accessories. I'm currently wearing one now (a pink headband with a gold sparkly heart) to help boost my cranky mood.

Just checked out their newest goodies, and I'm a-flutter for this subtle but adorable goodie.

I'm a bit of a calligraphy junkie (I got my husband two pages of calligraphied song lyrics for his birthday!) So when I saw these personalized calligraphy stamps, I immediately fell in love!



They are from Primele on Etsy (though I first spotted them in Lucky Magazine.) At $43 for the name stamp and $59 for the return address, I might have to order one stat!

Feather Friday

I love anything that falls under the "Boho Chic" category. Long flowing wavy hair. Moroccan tunics. And feathers. These bohemian feathered goodies caught my eye and I might have to bring them home with me.

My 3 favorite home accessories from the Goods:

1. Ikat bowl by Nate Berkus from HSN. Bought it for a client and feeling pangs of jealousy each time I see it in her home.


2. Candlesticks in this interior by Amy Lau. I saw similar candlesticks at a Rose Bowl flea market and have serious remorse about not snatching them up.



3. Vintage Gucci glassware from 1st dibs. Tre fab.
